This one lands tonight – and will become unattainable. So stay up late to obtain up early for a set of the Adidas Wien City Series trainers.

It is hard to evaluate precisely how popular and how much stock is going to be available with the City Series reissues. Some recent drops have been around for considerably longer than you may expect along with a couple has landed in the sales. Unheard of in the past.

But from time to time a shoe lands and sells in minutes. I don't know for sure whether it will be this one, but my gut instinct is that it will. This has been something of the 'holy grail' for quite some time and I think the collectors will be all this. And so will the more casual buyer too. It's a great-looking City Series shoe.

As you might know, the Adidas City Series commenced in the 1970s, paying tribute to some variety of city locations with individual types of the shoe. Ok, some of the shoes had greater than a little bit of similarity about the subject. But each had its very own colour like a calling card. There have been actually two versions of the Wien produced to celebrate Vienna. The one brought back here is the 'classic' that sits along with most people's 'wants' list.

The official colours of this one are Pride Ink, Flash Orange and Blue Bird, using the design usual for the era, a slim and low shoe with a suede upper, gum rubber outsole and branding aside as well as on the tongue, with the Adidas logo around the heel. Basically, this is a one-to-one reissue of the original.

It's an ageless look and as such, a design with almost universal appeal. That's why this is this type of popular release if this lands. Also it lands very soon.

The Adidas Wien lands tonight (9th April 2022) at 11pm or midnight, based on your choice of retailer. I would recommend striking the sites at 11pm and hoping for the very best.

Some might well delay until 'life was imple' if you don't see them late into the evening. Presumably, to make sure the launch goes efficiently.
