CBD Chocolate Drizzle Almond Butter Cookies with Veggimins

Coffee, cookies, beauty items, candy- these days you can find CBD oil in about any and everything- as well as your favorite latte at your favourite coffee shop. This recent flood of CBD products is a far cry from just a couple of years back, once the mere mention of CBD oil garnered sideways glances and muttered references to that other compound it's confused with.

But CBD differs (read: completely non-hallucinogenic and from the different variety of plant- read this article for more info around the differences between hemp and marijuana) and lastly experiencing and enjoying the attention it so rightly deserves because of its possibility to support everything from anxiety to depression to muscle aches and pains. In short, CBD oil tends to have a more advantageous impact on the physical body, while THC tends towards mental alteration.

If you're not really acquainted with CBD oil and just what it will, we recommend popping over to this post, which answers the (new) age-old question: exactly what does CBD oil do? Go ahead and read it, we'll be the following awaiting you-

Great. CBD sounds pretty amazing, right? One look at the benefits and it is easy to see why a lot of people sing its praises, and with its legalization in most 50 states, you might think everyone and their grandma was around the CBD bandwagon. But the truth is, CBD is still hard to source. Why? Because while CBD oil may be legal, actually growing hemp isn't. As a result, demand has skyrocketed while supplies remain relatively low, which has, unfortunately, opened the doors for low-quality imports.

How to find quality CBD products

So how do you find high-quality CBD products? Everything comes down to teaching yourself. Much like ensuring you're purchasing the highest-quality olive oil or coconut oil you can, your CBD oil should be the best of the best – otherwise you're shelling out a great deal of money for any product which doesn't deliver, or worse, contains additives or contaminants.

Take the CBD products from superfoods brand Veggimins for example. Veggimins' CBD products are organically-grown, non-GMO, and sourced in the US where they're grown and processed in Colorado. By extracting their CBD without the use of solvents or chemicals (they use a supercritical CO2 process), Veggimins third-party lab-tested products are certain to be free from contaminants and also the best possible quality.

Not only are Veggimins-brand CBD products impressive, also they are delicious, because of the addition of another superfood in many of their products: raw chocolate. That's right. However the inclusion of raw chocolate isn't just for taste, the compounds present in cacao, specifically theobromine, could support circulation and also the body's ability to put the CBD to operate. It's a one-two punch of taste and performance, making it possibly the most delicious way of reaping the rewards of CBD.

One of our favorite Veggimins products? It's hard to choose one of the selection (you could call it an extensive spectrum of CBD products-) however the probiotic-enhanced CBD Chocolate Butter takes the wedding cake. Creamy, chocolatey, with a hint of hazelnut, it truly does not get much better- except if you spread it on the cookie. Wish to really chill out? Result in the recipe below the next time you're craving a comfortable night in. With slightly crispy edges along with a soft center, these simple almond butter cookies get together in no time and are only enhanced with the help of a chocolate CBD drizzle.
